Armourguard was an active supporter of industry reform introduced in September 2013 that made it compulsory for security personnel to have a minimum level of training in conflict management, communication and risk identification.
We cover the costs of the PSPLA regulatory training for our staff and provide financial incentives for staff who obtain additional NZQA Certificate Levels.
Specific training is provided for our people working in extra demanding situations and specialised roles such as hospital security, emergency response, first aid, crime scenes, remand work or noise control.
We also deliver specific training in customer service so our Retail Ambassadors, Event Security, Hosts and Bank Guards can stand out from the crowd.
