Asking someone to turn down their music or quieten their noise can be a fraught situation that can easily escalate if not handled carefully. The potential for trouble is even higher if equipment has to be confiscated.
Despite having dealt with more than 12,000 noise complaints over four years on behalf of the Palmerston North City Council, Armourguard’s noise control officers have never been the subject of any complaint according to the Council’s Head of Environmental Protection Services, Wayne Jameson.
