ADT ARMOUGUARD WINS COUNCIL CONTRACT

ADT Armourguard Rotorua recently secured a contract with the Rotorua District Council to provide security services for a range of events that will take place in the region.

ADT Armourguard Rotorua Branch Manager, Daniel Matata, said the new contract will see the company providing key security services for the Council’s business division - Events and Venues Rotorua.

“This is a great opportunity for us to continue to work alongside the Council and expand our service offering to them and the wider Rotorua community.”

ADT Armourguard currently provides a number of key services to the Council from noise control, alarm monitoring and security patrols, through to CCTV and intruder alarm installations.

With the new contract now in place, the company will provide security services for over 100 different events scheduled to take place at six different venues in Rotorua.

This weekend, ADT Armourguard Rotorua will provide approximately 350 staff at the Raggamuffin festival which is being held at the Rotorua International Stadium. This will be the first major event that ADT Armourguard will provide security for under the new contract.

“We’re hoping for a positive start to the year, with a trouble-free event where everyone gets to enjoy the entertainment on offer.”
